DMCA & Copyright Policy

Copyright Compliance

Wallies LLC, operator of Wallies, respects copyright law and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") and applicable international laws. This policy applies to all user-generated content across Wallies — including Rooms (short-form video), Closets (community servers), Music, Livestreams, Drops, the Marketplace, Handles, and App Store listings.

Designated DMCA Agent

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

A valid notice must include:

1. Physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or agent
2. Identification of the copyrighted work
3. Identification of the infringing material and its location
4. Contact information of the complaining party
5. A good-faith statement of unauthorized use
6. A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate

Incomplete notices may not be processed.

Counter-Notification

Users may submit a counter-notice including:

1. Signature of the user
2. Identification of removed content
3. Statement under penalty of perjury that removal was a mistake
4. Consent to jurisdiction of U.S. federal courts

Content may be restored unless legal action is filed.

False Claims (17 U.S.C. § 512(f))

Anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. We may take action against accounts that abuse the takedown or counter-notice process.

Safe Harbor (17 U.S.C. § 512)

Wallies LLC is a service provider that hosts content at the direction of users. We do not pre-screen all uploads and rely on the safe-harbor protections of 17 U.S.C. § 512(c). To maintain them, we:

• Designate an agent registered in the U.S. Copyright Office DMCA Designated Agent Directory
• Remove or disable access to material expeditiously upon a valid notice
• Do not receive a financial benefit directly attributable to infringing activity we have the right and ability to control
• Maintain and enforce a repeat infringer policy

Repeat Infringer Policy

Wallies LLC maintains a repeat infringer policy.

Accounts receiving three (3) or more valid DMCA notices may be permanently terminated, or sooner in egregious cases.

User Content Warranties

By uploading content, users represent that:

• They own or have rights to the content
• The content does not infringe third-party rights
• They grant Wallies LLC a hosting license for platform operation

Third-Party Content

The Platform may integrate third-party services or assets (e.g., Ready Player Me avatars, Mux / Cloudflare video delivery, Daily.co rooms, Stripe payments). Such content and services are governed by the respective third-party terms.
